In the very beginning of the book, Marlowe (one of the three male love interests) needs our female main character, Kate, to talk while she's in the dangerous magic forest known as the Witchwoods. Kate knows better than to talk because talking causes a person to get trapped there permanently. He doesn't want to hurt her, so he writes on a chalkboard (because he also can't talk for fear of drawing the monster to them) that he's going to fuck her unless she tells him to stop. She refuses to talk, so he touches her until she screams the word 'stop'. At that point he stops. Later in the story, he apologizes for his actions and while Kate wants to give him a second chance, she decides that he will never get her forgiveness for that act even though she loves him. You might call this a 'dub-con' scene, or dubious consent. There's some kissing, some fondling, and he inserts his fingers in her.

There are several scenes with dead bodies and gore - this is a horror novel, even if it's also a cozy witch novel. Nobody important dies, but there are plenty of gruesome scenes with the forest monster eating people. If blood and gore bother you, this will be a tough read.

This series contains a lot of cursing, tons of it. I don't hold back.

The sex scenes are incredibly graphic - semen and bukkake and group scenes and oral sex and spit and consensual non-consent (meaning the characters are pretending to not want it, but they've already discussed that they do ahead of time) and somnophilia (also consensual, going both ways). There is NO MM or male/male in this series, although there is plenty of group sex.

This series contains hunting, and the death of animals like lizards, snakes, insects, etc. **NO DOGS OR CATS DIE - all the pets, including the crow - survive.*

I will be adding to this list as more books in the series come out, so please check back if you're concerned. <3 Happy (and safe) reading!
